I Match I Spy Level 2

The I Match I Spy Level 2 works in the same way as Level 1, though this time, every object shares a beginning sound with another. In this activity, we invite the child to find the object we “spy” by not only the beginning sound, but also with the ending sound of the word. For example, “I spy something that begins with the sound ‘s’”. The child then has to choose between “strawberry” and “star”. The parent or teacher will then give another clue, indicating the ending sound. For example, “the object I spy ends with the sound ‘r’”. 

The matching portion of the activity works in the same way as Level 1, with the children progressively matching object to illustration, silhouette to illustration, and object to silhouette.
